RENEW 2011 is about to begin its fall program. The focus of these meetings will be the new Roman Missal. As the Church presents a new translation of the mass for us to use, we are invited to renew our own understanding, commitment and spirituality of the Eucharist. I’d invite every adult in the parish to consider joining a group if you don’t have one already. You’re always welcome to come onboard and participate in this great program. You not only have the chance to share your faith and grow in your understanding but also to meet new friends and create new ties to the community.
A Prayer of Spiritual Longing
Loving God and Father, we long for you. We long for deeper meaning in our lives, for a wider love than we now experience. We yearn to know we belong and are connected to you and all creation.
Yet time seems to slip from our grasp, our days filled with the duties of life. Often we do not recognize your presence that calls us to respond to the needs of your people.
Help us to live more consciously and joyfully in your presence, to channel the longing at the core of our being with deep faith, expanding hope, and a renewed commitment to right relationships.
May we embody the Christ life in this our moment and place in history. May the communion of saints surround us and companion us on our journey.
May your Holy Spirit empower us to be holy for the good of the world and for your honor and glory.
We ask this through the risen Christ, our brother and friend. Amen.

Padre amoroso y creador, nos has hecho a imagen tuya y quieres que crezxamos cada día en tu amor.
Somos como una semilla y necesitamos de Ti, de tu toque amoroso, de tu agua que saia nuestra sed, de tu luz transformadora y de todos tus cuidados.
Parde amado, rocíanos cada día con agua viva para que florezczmos enraizados en tu amor.
Envíanos la luz de tu Espíritu Santo con todos tus dones, para que seamos como un árbol con magnificas ramas y flores donde hagamos un kugar para todos. Amén.
