7 Promises to the Community

 

We, the Adult Education Team of St. Oliver Plunkett Catholic Church, make the following 7 Promises to our parish:

 

1.  Adult Ed offerings will be grounded in both Sacred Scripture and the sacred teaching tradition of the Roman Catholic Church

 

2.  Adult Ed offerings will be diverse in subject and in presentation method in order to ensure stimulating learning experiences 

 

3. Each Adult Ed offering will be tied to the larger goal  of challenging the community and prompting it to greater service

 

4. Adult Ed offerings will foster sharing and dialogue

 

5. The Adult Ed Team will constantly be attentive to  the needs and interests of the parish community  so that offerings are deemed relevant

 

6. The Adult Ed Team will continuously self-assess its efforts and approaches to ensure the program is aligned with its larger Vision

 

7. The Adult Ed Team will participate in the process of continuous learning and formation
