Traveling Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe

The Image of Our lady of Guadalupe is available in a special tote bag in the Sacristy. Simply sign your name and phone number on the clip board and take the bag home for a week. Cross off your name when you return it to the Sacristy. While the image is in your home place it in a prominent place and pray each day for the end of abortion.  The tote bag will hold the picture, a short video for children, a longer video for adults, and a booklet describing the meaning of the image on the tilma.  a prayer journal is provided for those who want to enter a thought or prayer of encouragement.

The image will provide an opportunity to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and His Blessed Mother, and to build our faith.  It will serve as a reminder and focal point to pray for an end to abortion and the culture of death so prevalent in our country.  the assaults on life grow daily, in the media, music industry, in our government, courts, schools and hospitals.  Life is destroyed through cloning, fetal stem cell research, partial-birth abortions, morning-after pills, euthanasia, and the death penalty.  Stand with Our Blessed Mother and defend life through your prayers.

We hope that through our prayers and the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe our country will be a culture of life, hope and faith.  Please continue to pray for life, without ceasing, even when the image is passed on during the next Sunday's liturgy.
