St. Oliver's Ushers and Greeters

Members of the Welcoming Committee serve our parish by creating a warm and inviting presence at the weekend liturgies. They greet parishioners and visitors to our church before the liturgy. They also assist the ushers with distributing the parish bulletin after the completion of the liturgy.

Notes for Ushers

Distractions of late arrivals being seated during the readings and the homily has become noticeable and as ushers need to help maintain the focus.  Please use the musical interludes: the Gloria, the Responsorial Psalm or during the Creed and Preparation of the Gifts to seat late arrivals.  No one should be seated during the readings or the homily.  If it becomes necessary please use the balcony for overflow.

Please, in all cases, be respectful and patient.
